How about a Retro Cafe Racer with some exclusive features in the Indian market? Hey, everyone, we all know that big things come in small packages. So today here, I am going to put down something interesting for all the bikers out there. You all must have known that Husqvarna was a maker of dirt bikes but surprisingly they have come out with the making of Vitpilen 250 and the Svartpilen 250 and they are Not Dirt bikes at all.
Husqvarna bikes will be available on KTM showrooms. Now talking about the bike Husqvarna Vitpilen250 is not just a cafe racer bike in the segment but also it’s one of the first Huskies to land in the Indian two-wheeler market.
Unlike the Svartpilen 250, the Vitpilen 250 is a cafe racer with an aggressive and sporty stance. For those who don’t know that Viptilen stands for White arrow.
Husqvarna 250 is a commuter bike that is priced at 1,79,456 (ex-showroom). It weighs 154kg (dry) and has a tank capacity of 9.5litres. KTM shares the same Duke 250 engine with the Husqvarna.
You can expect a mileage of 28-30km/pl the same as the duke 250. Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 generates 29.2 bhp of power and 24nm of torque from its engine. It has a single-cylinder and has a 6speed manual gearbox. It comes with a BS 6 engine and is fuel injected the same as the KTM Duke 250.
Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 has got an anti-locking braking system with both front and rear disc brakes. In terms of looking it is designed as a retro cafe racer and a modern street bike and capable of seeking a lot of attention. It sports a round headlamp which is a full LED unit.
It has got145mm of ground clearancewhich is not much and can be an issue while facing the speed breakers. It also got a switchable ABS which has two modes The Road and The Super Moto mode. It gives a very comfortable sitting position for the rider and the pillion but the pillion won’t be comfortable on long rides.
And also the seat height is 5mm taller than the KTM Duke 250. And the other hardware components of the bike like the Engine, frame, suspension, and brakes are the same as the KTM duke 250.
The engine of the Husqvarna 250 is loaded with power and possibly is one of the most comfortable cafe racers. It inspires a lot of confidence and you will just want to push more.
In terms of rivalry, it clashes with the Bajaj Dominar 250, KTM Duke 250, Yamaha FZ25, and the Suzuki Gixxer 250.
Nevertheless, it arrives as a cafe racer-inspired designed and is expected to have humongous appreciation.
